Farrah is an Of Counsel in our Litigation practice group. She specialises in civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on matters involving corporate and shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, injunctions, trusts and equitable remedies.
She is experienced in litigation, international arbitration and mediation, and advises on a wide range of commercial issues such as investigations, compliance and regulatory matters, including anti-money laundering issues.
Her recent experience includes: acting in international fraud and corruption disputes where Mareva (freezing) injunctions and discovery of banker’s books were obtained in favour of her clients; assisting a Senior Counsel in the successful defence of a multi-million dollar shareholder dispute in respect of alleged breach of pre-emption rights; assisting a Senior Counsel in the successful appeal of a trusts dispute involving the defence of laches.
Farrah has been named as one of the Singapore’s 21 most influential lawyers aged 40 and under in 2020 by the Singapore Business Review.
Farrah serves on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Law Society of Singapore, as well as on the Law Society Arbitration Scheme Sub-Committee.
She is a member of the Singapore Mediation Centre’s Panel of Associate Mediators, the Law Society of Singapore, Singapore Academy of Law, and the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.
Farrah was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2011, and called to the Singapore Bar in 2013.
She speaks English, Malay and Indonesian.
