Harry Elias Partnership LLP is a knowledge partner of the International Mediation Singapore (IMSG).
In 2019, history was made with the signing of the Singapore Convention on Mediation. In conjunction with the Singapore Convention week, the International Mediation Singapore (IMSG) competition was organised. An international mediation and mediation advocacy competition for tertiary students, IMSG 2019 enjoyed resounding success, attracting over 40 teams from 17 different countries. The inaugural event brought together the best teams from around the world to celebrate a shared passion for mediation.
In 2020, unprecedented challenges were faced in light of disruptions posed by COVID-19. Nevertheless, IMSG 2020 saw the world’s first multi-party mediation session in a mediation competition setting, and pressed on to become one of the largest online competitions in the international mediation competition circuit.
Riding on past years’ successes, IMSG is back with the third edition, IMSG 2021. It will be held across two weekends (22 to 24 October & 30 to 31 October) and will take place online. Pre-registration for participants interested in the event is now open, until 30 September. The competition is open to ALL registered students (applicable to part-time studies too), all over the world.
