We are pleased that Francis Goh, Partner and Head of International Arbitration together with KK Lim, Head of Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection and Shaun Leong, Partner, International Arbitration, spoke at the Legal 500 Asia Pacific Disputes Summit, held on 10 September 2019 at The Westin Singapore.
The Summit brought together more than 100 in-house counsel from across Asia Pacific, Europe & the US along with leading practitioners and thought leaders to discuss the key trends in some of the most strategic practice areas in global law.
The Firm was represented in two of the panel sessions at this Legal 500 event. Francis moderated the session titled “Managing cross-border tech disputes inside and outside the tech sector, from arbitrating disputes faced by tech clients to cybersecurity and data protection considerations”. KK Lim also spoke at this session. He shared his insights on future technology disputes, methods available to corporate counsels to manage technology disputes efficiently and project management of tech disputes. Shaun, spoke at a panel titled “The International Commercial Courts and arbitration in Singapore – the next 10 years”. He shared insights on the emerging trends in international commercial arbitration, litigation and mediation, and on how each of these would complement one another to provide users with a full suite of dispute resolution options in the global hub which is Singapore.
