Tracy is our Of Counsel with experience in corporate and litigation matters while previously working in the Attorney General’s Chambers (“AGC”).
She started her career in the Civil Division of AGC in 2013 providing legal advice, interpreting statutes, and actively participating in negotiations with international and local parties, as well as drafting and vetting a variety of contracts, memorandum of understandings, and other legal documentation for Government Ministries and departments including statutory bodies.
She later joined the International Affairs Division of AGC in 2018 giving advisory services on international law, preparing legal opinions involving issues of international law, undertaking comprehensive studies and preparing recommendation papers and legal opinions on the implications of international treaties and conventions prior to signing, accession and/or ratification, and representing AGC in various ASEAN related meetings.
Tracy joined the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Practice Group in August 2018 providing legal advice for corporate and litigation matters, as well as drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documentation for corporate clients which include Government Ministries, Government-Linked Companies, as well as local, regional and international companies.
Tracy graduated from the University of Warwick in England in 2011 with a Bachelor of Law LLB (HONS) and completed her Bar Professional Training Course in 2012 at BPP University. She is a member of The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2012.
She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam in April 2019.
