Partner Kok Yee Keong was on the panel of speakers at the “Post-Pandemic Blues: Survive? Or Thrive? – The Future of The PIPD Profession” event

Mar 24, 2025

Our Partner, Kok Yee Keong, was on the panel of speakers at the “Post-Pandemic Blues: Survive? Or Thrive? – The Future of The PIPD Profession” event organised by the Singapore Academy of Law. He shared with the attendees on how the Personal Injury / Property Damage (PIPD) practice had been an important aspect of his formative years of legal practice, teaching him invaluable skills and experience, and his views on the commercial challenges the PIPD practice faces.

Yee Keong has been a committee member of the Law Society of Singapore’s PIPD Committee since 2019. He finds the PIPD practice and the PIPD Committee’s work especially meaningful as it affects the man on the street, and not just about dollars and cents, and it keeps him grounded on the practice of law. This was also one of the key reasons that he had authored the comprehensive motor accident guide back in 2019, and a parallel article on Law Gazette in 2019 (which is still the top 10 most read Law Gazette articles of 2024) – to make the law more accessible to those who need it!
